RESOLUTION 26-031
A RESOLUTION AWARDING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND
AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF VALVES FOR THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT
VALVE REPLACEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Anthony Village desires to make upgrades to the Water
Treatment Plant including operational valves, electrical and SCADA network; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for professional services to provide the electrical and
program upgrades to the Water Treatment Plan SCADA network, a quote was
received from Dusk Systems, the existing electrical and programmer for the
City's current SCADA network, in the amount of $67,000.00; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for quotes for the City to purchase 39 Flomatic butterfly
valves with electrical actuators for the Water Treatment Plant, quotes were
received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following quotes were
received complying with the request:
Contractor Total Quote
1 Rep Rite Burk & Associates $112,365.00
2 Magney Construction Inc. did not submit
3 Plant and Flanged did not submit; and
WHEREAS, Rep Rite Burk & Associates of Mendota Heights, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible quote.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of City of Saint Anthony
Village, Minnesota approves
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with Dusk Systems for professional services in the amount of $67,000 in the name of the
City of St. Anthony Village, Minnesota to provide electrical and program upgrades to the
Water Treatment Plant SCADA network.
2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract
with Rep Rite Burk & Associates in the amount of $112,365.00 in the name of the City of
St. Anthony Village, Minnesota to supply the City of St. Anthony Village with 39
Flomatic butterfly valves with electrical actuators for the Water Treatment Plant.
