WHEREAS, the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association, AAA of Minnesota, and the
Saint Anthony Village Police Department are sponsoring a statewide crime and drug
prevention program on August 4, 2026 called "Night to Unite"; and
WHEREAS, this is the 18th Annual Night to Unite in Minnesota, and it provides a unique
opportunity for Saint Athony Village to join forces with hundreds of other
communities across Minnesota in promoting cooperative, police -community crime
and drug prevention efforts; and
WHEREAS, the. City of Saint. Anthony Village plays a vital role in assisting the Saint
Anthony Village Police Department through joint cringe and drug prevention efforts
in Saint Anthony Village and is supporting Night to Unite 2026 locally; and
WHEREAS, it is essential that all citizens of Saint Anthony Village be aware of the
importance of crime prevention programs and the impact their participation can
have on reducing crim and drug abuse in the City of Saint Anthony Village; and
WHEREAS, police and community together promoting neighborhood safety,
awareness and cooperation, are important themes ofthe Night to Unit program.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Wendy Webster, Mayor of Saint Anthony Village,
have the distinct honor of proclairning
August 4, 2026 as Night to Unite Day
throughout Saint Anthony Village, Minnesota
