• City of Falcon Heights <br />City Council Minutes <br />3 November 1999 Workshop <br />Acting Mayor Jacobs called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M. <br />Present: Gibson Talbot, Hustad, Kuettel and Jacobs. Also present was <br />Administrator Hoyt. <br />Absent: Mayor Sue Gehrz <br />CONSENT AGENDA: <br />Councilmember Talbot moved approval of the consent agenda as follows: <br />1. Consideration of resolution 99-25 certifying the city returns of November 2, <br />1999. <br />2. Adopt ordinance 99-08 formalizing council action on the mayor's salary <br />taken on November 25, 1998. <br />3. General disbursements and payroll. <br />• Acting Mayor Jacobs adjourned the meeting at 6:03 P. M. <br />WORKSHOP <br />Acting Mayor Sam Jacobs opened the workshop. The council met with <br />representatives from Barton Aschman to discuss designs for a pavilion structure <br />as part of the Larpenteur Avenue Streetscape project. The council directed the <br />staff on the desirable design option. <br />Administrator Hoyt updated the council on the status of Y2K contingency <br />planning especially with the lift station at 1666 where back-up plans include <br />pumping and generator options, but do not include leasing a generator for <br />$4, 600. <br />Administrator Hoyt also updated the council on the status of commercial property <br />in the city and the sale of ambulances. <br />The workshop adjourned at 7:45 P.M. <br />ectfully submitted, <br />• Susan Hoyt <br />City Administrator <br />
