o~ <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JANUARY 26, 1994 <br />Baldwin convened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT <br />Baldwin, Gehrz and Hustad. Also present were Chenoweth and Hoyt. <br />MEMBERS ABSENT <br />(Gibson Talbot arrived later) Jacobs <br />MINUTES OF 1/12/94 APPROVED <br />Council approved the Minutes of January 12, 1994 by unanimous <br />consent. <br />GIBBON TALBOT ARRIVES <br />Gibson Talbot arrived at 7:09 p.m. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />Council approved the following Consent Agenda by unanimous <br />consent: <br />1. Disbursements <br />a. General disbursements through 1/12/94, $398,563.95 <br />b. Payroll 1/01.94 - 1/15/94, $14,278.03 <br />2. Licenses (see attached list) <br />3. Adoption of Resolution R-94-03 granting a variance to <br />the Minnesota Historical Society, 1755 N. Prior, to <br />install a sign two feet from the east property line <br />APPROVAL OF CONDITIONAL USE FOR VETERINARY HOSPITAL AT 1546 <br />LARPENTEUR <br />Hoyt presented a conditional use request from William E. Graham, <br />DVM, and property owner Halsted Wehmann. The purpose of the <br />request was to permit the operation of a small veterinarian <br />hospital at 1546 W. Larpenteur. Hoyt explained that following a <br />public hearing held by the Planning Commission on January 24, <br />1994, the commission unanimously approved the conditional use <br />with conditions as listed. Baldwin read the conditions presented <br />by the commission after which Hustad moved adoption of Resolution <br />R-94-04. Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-94-04 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />OPERATION OF A VETERINARY HOSPITAL AT 1546 WEST <br />LARPENTEUR IN A B-3 ZONE <br />
