c <br />~~ <br /> <br />1 <br />MITNTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />ISARCH 9, 1983 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />at 7:30 P.NI. by Mayor Warkentien. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Chestovich, Eggert, Larson and Ciernia. <br />Also present were Clerk Administrator Barnes and Attorney Van de North. <br />Tdone . <br />Councilmember Chestovich moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert, that <br />the Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Upon a <br />vote being taken, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers <br />Chestovich, Eggert, Larson and Ciernia, and the following noted against <br />the same: None. Mayor Tniarkentien abstained. Motion carried. <br />Council discussed the subdivision application from the Charles Hawkins <br />Estate to allow the sale of 17 acres of their property to Good Value <br />Homes for the construction of single family homes. Clerk Administrator <br />Barnes informed that the developer planned to have the preliminary <br />plat plan completed by March 18 in time for presentation to the <br />Planning Commission on Niarch 21 and to Council on March 23, 1983. <br />Attorney Van de North addressed the law suit American Shelter has <br />pending against the City. He was of the opinion that it would have <br />no impact on Good Value Homes developing the land as American Shelter <br />did not own the property and will never have the opportunity to develop <br />the land.
