X: ~5 <br />MINUTES <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JULY 19, 1983 <br />A Special City Council Meeting was called to order by Mayor Warkentien <br />at 12:00 O~C1ock Noon. <br />Ma~ror Warkentien, Councilmembers Larson and Ciernia. Also present were PRESENT <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes and Fiscal Consultant Chenoweth. <br />Councilmembers Chestovich and Eggert. ABSENT <br />Fiscal Consultant Chenoweth presented proposed Resolution 83-23 calling FISCAL <br />the sale of $525,000 General Obligation Tax Increment Bonds to finance CONSULTANT <br />utilities in Falcon Woods No. 3 and ad,~acent parcels. He explained PRESENTS <br />the payment schedule on tha bonds and reviewed the information in his RESOLUTION <br />letter dated July 17th. Clerk Administrator Barnes reviewed the status CALLING FOR <br />of the proposed purchase of the Hermes property by Hewlett Packard. BOND SALE <br />Fiscal Consultant Chenoweth informed that if all progresses with the FOR UTILITIES <br />Good Value development as planned, the increanents from that development IN FAICON <br />should be sufficient to fund the project without a general tax levy. WOODS 3 <br />After the discussion, Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmesnber <br />Larson, that Resolution 83-23 be adopted. Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION 83-23 RESOLUTION <br />83-23 <br />A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR Pt1BLIC SALE OF <br />$525,000 GENERAL OffiIGATION TAX INCREMENT <br />BONDS FOR 1983 <br />Councilmember Larson requested the Clerk Administrator investigate the HALL RENTAL <br />cost of procuring dram shop insurance on a yearly basis for rental of <br />the hall to determine if that might lower the cost to prospective <br />renters. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes informed Council that a workshop will be WORKSHOP TO <br />held July 27, 1983 at 7:00 P.M. at which time Attorney Hannigan will BE HELD <br />give Council an update on the lake overflow court decision. 7/27/83 AT <br />7s00 P.M. <br />Councilmember Giernia moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson that <br />the meeting be ad~ouxned at 12;25 P.M.
