• CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />City Council Meeting <br />15 July 1998 <br />PRESENT: Mayor Gehrz <br />Councilmembers Gibson Talbot, Hustad, Kuettel <br />ALSO PRESENT: Susan Hoyt, City Administrator <br />Roger Knutson, City Attorney <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Jacobs <br />The meeting was called to order at 4:05 p.m. by Mayor Sue Gehrz. <br />Councilmember Kuettel moved the consent agenda. It passed unanimously. <br />Councilmembers discussed the information that was provided at the meeting <br />at 1666 Coffman on Thursday, July 9, 1998. Attorney Roger Knutson <br />discussed the potential legal case against the University. <br />• <br />Councilmember Gibson Talbot moved to adopt the Declaration of Restrictive <br />Covenant governing the use of the University of Minnesota Women's <br />Intercollegiate Soccer Stadium property. The motion passed unanimously. <br />The council directed Attorney Roger Knutson to handle all the discussion on <br />the covenants and related issues. <br />The council agreed that the Site Design Task Force looking at the site should <br />begin meeting only after the President of the University guaranteed the city <br />that the covenants were accepted and would be recommended to the Board <br />of Regents at the September 1 1, 1998 meeting. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 5:40 p.m. <br />Susan Hoyt <br />Recording Secretary <br />~uJ <br />n <br />LJ <br />
