CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES OF DECEMBER 17, 1997 ,~ <br />Mayor Gehrz convened the meeting at 7:04 p.m. <br />PRESENT <br />Gehrz, Gibson Talbot, and Jacobs. Also present were Hoyt and Asleson. <br />ABSENT <br />Hustad and Kuettel. <br />COMMUNITY FORUM <br />There was no one wishing to take advantage of the community forum. <br />MINUTES OF DECEMBER 3, 1997 <br />Minutes were approved by unanimous consent. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />Motion was made by Councilmember Gibson Talbot to approve the following consent <br />agenda. Motion passed unanimously. <br />1. Disbursements <br />2. Licenses <br />3. Approval of change order #2 with North Metro Landscaping <br />4. Approval of payment to Ramsey County for Gottfried Pit stormsewer maintenance <br />improvements <br />5. Approval of request to extend the timeline for completion of a garage with a front <br />yard setback variance at 1596 Northrop Street <br />6. Authorization to purchase of a replacement snow blower for the John Deere 955 <br />tractor <br />7. Approval of the budgeted 1998 standard compensation and step increases for <br />regular employees <br />8. Approval of extension to sign package C-3 for the State Fair sign to January 31, <br />1998 <br />9. Approval of the purchase of an automatic defibrillator for the police department <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />PUBLIC HEARING TO ASSESS TREE REMOVAL CHARGES <br />Mayor Gehrz opened the public hearing at 7:07 p.m. <br />Administrator Hoyt reported that the proposed assessment is for the removal of a <br />diseased tree from private property. The city's contractor removed the diseased tree <br />
