<br />MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
<br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA

<br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order
<br />by Mayor Warkentien at 8:02 p.m.
<br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Steele, and Iabalestra. Also present PRESENT
<br />were Clerk-Administrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg, and Attorney K enefick.
<br />Councilman Ecklund, who was out of town. ~~
<br />Councilman Labalestra moved, seconded by Councilman Black, to appmve the MINUTES
<br />minutes of June 26, 1975 as corrected. Upon a vote being taken, the JUNE 26,1975
<br />following voted "ay e": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Steele, and
<br />Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried.
<br />Engineer Lemberg presented the Council with a tabulation of the bids for 1975 STREET
<br />the 1975 Street Maintenance and Seal Coating Contract, as followss MAINTENANCE
<br />Arm sEAL coATING
<br />Bituminous Construction, Inc. $15,850.00 BIDS AWARD
<br />Allied Blacktop $16,335.00 RESOLUTION 75-16
<br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following Resolution, and moved its
<br />adoptions

<br />A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR 1975 STREET MAINTENANCE
<br />AND SEAL COATING PROJECT TO BITUMINOUS CONSTRUCTION, Ir1r.,
<br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,850.00 AS PER THE RELATION OF
<br />THE CITY ENGIlJEER, AND AURHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK-
<br />ADMINISTRATOR Ta EXECUTE THE CONTRACTS
<br />Councilman Steele seconded the foregoing Resolution, and upon a vote being
<br />taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black,
<br />Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried.

<br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Steele, to refer the variance
<br />request of Warner's Stellian, Inc., 1711 North Snelling, for sign replace- VARIANCE REQUEST
<br />meat to the Planning Commission. Upon a vote being taken, the following WARNER'S
<br />voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Steele, and Labalestra, STELLIAN, 1711
<br />and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. NORTH SHELLING
<br />Councilman Steele introduced the following Resolution, and moved its
<br />adoption:

<br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING CHANGES Td THE PROPOSED OPEN MEETING
<br />LAW AS RECOMMENDED TO THE LDGISLATURE BY THE LEAGUE OF
<br />MINNESOTA MUNICIPALITIES
<br />Councilman Labalestra seconded the foregoing Resolution, and upon a vote
<br />being taken, the following voted "aye" : Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen
<br />Black, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, to approve
<br />RESOLUTION 75-17
