1 2~ MIPNTES OF SPECIAL COUNCIL P~ETING FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA ocTO BER 30, 1975 A special meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order by Mayor Warkentien at 6:?~2 p.m. Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Steele. PRESENT Also present was Clerk Administrator Barnes. Councilman Labalestra was absent due to a commitment out ABSENT of town. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss several items which the Clerk-Administrator felt he needed direction on prior to Election Day, November !~, 1975• At the request of the Clerk-Administrator, a discussion was held in respect to Council salaries effective January 1, 1976. The Clerk-Administrator requested Council to ratify action taken on Octob®r 9, 1975, in reference to the setting of Council salaries as adopted in the 1976 Budget. Mayor Warkentien introduced the following Ordinance and ORDINANCE #1i~3 urged its adoption: FIXING MAYOR AND COUNCIL ORDINANCE N0. 1lt3 SALARIES AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCrr~+r~~S OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Councilman Ecklund seconded the foregoing motion to adopt Ordinance No. 113, and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Ecklund and Steele, and the following voted against: Councilman Black; Councilman Labalestra, absent. Motion carried. Clerk-Administrator Barnes requested Council to set the ELECTION JUDGES Election Judges hourly rate at $2.00 per hour, with minimum HOURLY RATE compensation at $5.00. Moved by Councilman Ecklund, seconded by Councilman Steele to set Election Judges salaries at $2.00 per hour with a minimum of $5.00. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Steele, and the following voted against: Non®. Council- man Labalestra, absent. Motion carried.
