MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA DECEM]~R 11, 1975 A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights Cit~- Council was called to order by Acting Mayor Black at 7:00 p.m. Acting Mayor Black, Councilmen Ecklund, Steels, and Labalestra. PRESENT Also prosent were Clerk-Administrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg, and Attorney Kenefick. Mayor Warkentien arrived at 7:17 p.m. None. ABSENT Moved bT Councilman Steele, seconded by Councilman Ecklund to APPROVAL OF approve the minutes of the regular meeting of November 2l~, 1975, MINUTES: as submitted. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted +'aye": NOVEMBER 21~, Acting Mayor Black, Councilmen Steele and Ecklund, and the 1975 following abstained: Councilman Labalestra. Motion carried. Councilman Steele introduced the following Ordinance and urged ORDINANCE #1l~1~: its adoption: ADOPTING THE UNIFORM FIRE ORDINANCE N0. 11..E CODE AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE MINNESOTA UNIFORM FIRE CODE AND AMENDMENTS THERETO BY REFERENCE Councilman Labalestra seconded the foregoing motion to adopt Ordinance No. ].1~, and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor thereof Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted against: None. Motion carried. Discussion was held regarding nominees to the newly established PARK DEVE'LOP- Park Development Committee. Clerk-Adnii.nistrator Barnes was MENT COMMITTEE directed to contact possible appointees to the Committee as to APPOINTMENTS their interest in serving on the temporary conuni.ttes. Attorney Kenefick reviewed the proposed contract for 1976 with 1976 SHERIFF+S Ramsey County for law enforcement. This contract updates the CONTRACT 1967 contract and would be submitted to the Sheriff+s Department for their approval. Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Councilman Black that the proposed contract for law en.force:aent for the City of Falcon Heights for the year 1976, as prepared by the City Attorney, be presented to the Ramsey County Sheriff + s Department for approval. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warken- tien, Councilmen Black, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following abstained: Councilman Ecklund. Motion carried.
