MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL FETING <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />MAY 12, 1977 • <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called <br />to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Laba- PRESENT <br />lestra. Also Clerk-Administrator Barnes, Attorney Kenefick and <br />Engineer Lemberg. <br />None. ABSENT <br />Moved by Councilman Labalestra, seconded by Councilman Steele APPROQAL OF <br />to approve the iteuas on the Consent Agenda as follows: CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. Falcon Heights Company Fire Reports, Nos. 35 and 36. <br />2. Building Inspector's Report, April, 1977. <br />3. General payroll (5/1-15/77) in the amount of $3,762.69. <br />~.. Liquor payroll (5/115/77) in the amount of $1,816.65. ' <br />5. General disbursements in the amount of $1,751.57. <br />6. Liquor dsbursea~enta in the amount of $16,Ii.10.39. <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted 'Faye"s Mayor War- <br />kentien, Councilmen .Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and <br />the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Labalestra moved and it was seconded by Councilman A'PPROV'AL OF <br />Steele to approve, as corrected, the minutes of April 28, 1977. MINUTES OF <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor War- 1x,/28/77 <br />kentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and <br />the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />James Pratt, 1811 Arona; Robert Lamb, 1811 Simpson and William <br />Brown, 1808 Asbury, appeared before Council with documentation <br />of the traffic-survey they conducted on Garden Avenue. They <br />presented Council with their findings and requested Council <br />authorize the installation of two (2) !~ Way stop signs on <br />Garden Avenue at the intersections of Asbury Avenue and the <br />intersection of Simpson Avenue. <br />After lengthy discussion as to the need for such signs. Council- <br />man Labalestra moved and it was seconded by Mayor Warkentien <br />to install two (2) teeaporary !~-way signs on Garden Avenue at <br />the (intersections ~i8 Asbury and Simpson and to conduct a <br />traffic count for. seven (7) full days before installation and <br />for seven (7) full days, after installation, during the week <br />of September 5, 1977. Upon completion of the traffic count the <br />results of the count will be submitted to the Council on or <br />about September 15, 197? for determination as to whether the <br />installation is to be continued beyond September 15th. <br />REPORT ON GARDEN <br />AVE.
