3ot~6 <br />MEETING OF FEBRUARY 11, 1971 <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. with the following members <br />present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Stone and Taylor. Also <br />present were Clerk Printon, Engineer Lemberg and Attorney Seed. <br />Minutes: Stone moved that the minutes of the. January 28, 1971 <br />meeting be approved. Ecklund seconded and the motion <br />carried. <br />Shared Revenue A resolution by the Minnesota League of Municipalities <br />Program Letter: regarding shared revenYSU~ras tabled to a later date. <br />Master Gas Taylor moved that the application for a gas installers <br />Application: license submitted by Raymond E. Olson, Fleming Sheet Metal <br />Cornpariy, 775 Colorado Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota, <br />be approved, for the period July 1, 1970 and ending June <br />30, 1971. Warkentien seconded and the motion carried. <br />Dog License Cost A letter was submitted to the Council by Mr. and Mrs. <br />and Complaint Alfred Jensen, 1906 Sheldon, regarding the annual cost of <br />Letter: dog licenses. They also complained about non-licensed <br />dogs running loose in the Village and poor animal control. <br />The Council requested the Clerk to send Ordinance No. 101, <br />along with an invitation to check all dog license records <br />at the Village Office. <br />Justice of the Applications were received from the followix~; for Justice <br />Peace Applications: of the Peace position to be open possibly by June or July: <br />Steven Arnold Nelson, 1720 West Larpenteur Avenue <br />Charles Allan Parsons, Jr., 1250 Gibbs <br />Sheriff's Report: Ecklund read the January Sheriff's Report. <br />Bills: Stone moved that the following bills be paid: <br />Thorne Coal & Oil Company -January Fuel 173.95 <br />Western Sign Company - 3 rink signs 21.50 <br />Otto N. Esch - 3 brooms - K. Quarn 7.20 <br />Donnor Communications - 1st Qtr. Contract 30.00 <br />Falcon Heights State Bank - Checks printed 11.115 <br />American Linen Supply Company -Jan. Linen 17.7l~ <br />Inter-City Printing -Plate made & 1000 letters lt1a.10 <br />League of Minn. Municipalities - Reg. - J. Printon 5.00 <br />James Taylor - Reg. Fee - RCLM 5.00 <br />Norman Ecklund - Reg.
