2888 <br />MEETING OF MAY 22, 1969 <br />The regular meeting of May 22, 1969 was called to order at 7:00 P.M. with the following <br />members present: Mayor Warkentien, Clerk Taylor, Councilmen Stone, Black and Ecklund. <br />Also present were Attorney Seed and Treasurer Olsen. <br />Minutes: Black moved, Ecklund seconded approval of the May 8, 1969 minutes <br />as corrected, Motion carried. <br />Sanitary Sewer Black moved that we refer the letter of April 29, 1969 from Eugene <br />Cont., Arundel V. Avery regarding the Sanitary Sewer Contract, to the Village <br />Street Sewer Attorney for review and reply. Warkentien seconded. Motion carried. <br />Repair <br />Policy for use 7~ylor requested that a policy be adopted on the use of the Village <br />of Village Hall: fall. The following policy was prepared by the Village Attorney: <br />No organization or group may use the Village Hall for meeting <br />purposes without the permission of the Village Council, except for <br />any organization or group established by the Village Council, or <br />working under the Village Council, including, but not limited to <br />the Recreation Advisory Committee, Human Rights Commission, Planning <br />Commission, and Fire Department Relief Association. <br />Black moved, Ecklund seconded that the policy governing the use of <br />the Village Hall be adopted. Motion carried. <br />Bob Moore, Recommendation was made by Bob Moore to the Village Council stating <br />Chairman of that the services of a recreational planning consultant would not <br />Recreation be necessary until the Recreation Committee had opportunity to dis- <br />Committee was cuss the situation more thoroughly. <br />present <br />Bids for new Ecklund mwtred, seconded by Warkentien to authorize Village Engineer <br />doors: to secure informal bids for the replacement and/or repair of the <br />West overhead door and the front North side pedestrian door. <br />Motion carried. <br />Village Ecklund moved, seconded by Black that we authorize the Village <br />Shreet signs: Engineer to place orders with Gopher Stamp and Dye Company for new <br />reflectorized steeet signs with green background and white lettering <br />and necessary appurtenance thereto. Motion carried. <br />Fire Reports <br />No. 777 & 778: Ecklund read Fire Reports No. 777 & 778. <br />B & E Patrol: B & E Patrol was requested to appear before the Village Council at <br />the next scheduled meeting of June 12, 1969, to discuss the import- <br />ance and evaluation of their services. <br />Building Permit Back moved that the application for building permit submitted by <br />for Mary Gillitte: Lewis Jensen Agency on behalf of Mary Gillitte on Lot 2, Blc3ek 2 <br />of Lindig Addition be referred to the Village Engineer for recom- <br />mendation. Seconded by Taylor. Motion carried, <br />
