2039 <br />SPECIAL 2~EETING OF DECEMBER !~, 1963 <br />The Council was called to act as a Canvassing Board in connection with <br />the Village Election held December 3, 19b3. The Clerk read the following <br />election returns: <br />For the Office of Mayor: <br />Harold C, Nilsen <br />Fred Mayer <br />Peter McGough <br />George Kilgore <br />For the Office of Trustee: <br />George J. Shavor <br />William H, Black <br />For the Office of Treasurers <br />William E. Olsen <br />Otto Bonestroo <br />For the Office of <br />Justice of Peace : <br />Dwain L. Jones <br />Ralph Reichow <br />R. 0. Hines <br />A total of votes cast numbered 188. <br />Votes <br />1 <br />1 <br />2 <br />23l~ <br />25~. <br />l~53 <br />1 <br />~.1.~3 <br />1 <br />1 <br />On motion by Warkentien, seconded by Mortenson, it was voted unanimously <br />to declare the following duly elected to office, and the Clerk was <br />instructed to certify the election returns to the County Auditor. <br />Harold C. Nilsen was elected Mayor for a term of two years. <br />William H. Black was elected Trustee for a term of three years. <br />William E. Olsen was elected Treasurer for a term of two years. <br />Dwain L. Jones was elected Justice of the Peace for a term of two years. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Harold C. Nilsen; Clerk W.
