2190 <br />CANVASSING BOARD ~:~~ETING <br />1 <br />71E'DNESDAY, DECEMBER 9, 196l~ <br />The Canvassing Board Meeting was called to order at 7s00 P. M. Present <br />were the following: P~ayor Harold C~ Nilsen; Village Clerk W. A. Mortenson; <br />Trustees William Black and Charles Stone. Also present was Deputy Clerk <br />Tina Vavoulis. <br />In connection with the canvass of votes for the election of officers for <br />the Village of Falcon Heights, at the annual Village Election which was held <br />on December 8, 196., the Villa ge Clerk read the following election returns: <br />For the Office of Village Clerk= <br />Herbert H. Strandquist 257 votes <br />M. E. Timmons 130 <br />For the Office of Trustee: <br />Charles P. Stone 300 <br />Jerome Wilczyk $$ <br />1 <br />For.'the Office of Justice of the Peace - two year term: <br />Jerome Beardsley <br />327 <br />For the Office of Justice of the Peace - to fill vacancy - one year <br />Paul L. Coppini <br />329 <br />On motion by Mortenson, seconded by Black, it was voted unanimously to <br />declare the following duly elected to office, and that the Clerk be <br />instructed to certify said election returns to the County Auditor. <br />Herbert H. Strap dquist was elected Village Clerk for a <br />term of two years. <br />Charles P. Stone was elected Trustee for a term of <br />three years. <br />Jerome Beardsley was elected Justice of the Peace for <br />a term of two years, <br />Paul L. Coppini was elected Justice of the Peace for <br />one year to fill vacancy created <br />by resignation of Dwain Z. Jones. <br />1 <br />Adjournments On motion, the Canvassing Board meeting was adjourned at <br />7:30 P.
