2255 <br />SPECIAL MEETING OF JUNE 30, l9l~6 ~ <br />Ths: special meeting was called to order with the following members present: <br />Acting Mayor Warkentien, Clerk Strandquist, Trustees Stone and Black. <br />Absent: Mayor Nilsen. <br />Gasoline Filling Station <br />Operator's License: Moved by Strandquist, seconded by Stone and duly <br /> carried to issue gasoline filling station operator's <br /> license to the following: <br />She11 Station <br /> Donald Johnston - Falcon Heights Shell Station <br /> 1.07 West Larpenteur Avenue <br />Standard Oil Standard Oil Company representatives Al Engebretson and <br />Station: R. B. Austed were present, as was Garnet Gallimore, <br /> operator of said filling station. Moved by Stone, <br /> seconded by Strandquist that license to operate the <br /> gasoline filling station for the period July 1 to <br /> July 31, 1965 be granted. This thirty-day license is <br /> granted in order that Standard Oil Company may have <br /> additional time to build a stockade on the northwest <br /> corner of the lot for the purpose of placing refuse <br /> until disposed of or removed. Further, Standard Oil <br /> Company representatives shall make inquiry as to <br /> installation of an incinerator for burning of clean <br /> refuse. If satisfactory measures are completed in <br /> this one month period, license for the remainder of <br /> the year may be issued. Motion carried. <br />Workmen's Compensation Police Officer Dewey A. Smith has made workmen's <br />Claim - Dewey A. Smith: compensation claim due to injury sustained while on <br />active duty. Village Clerk was instructed to refer <br />this matter to the village attorney. <br />Springsted Companys Mr. Milton Knoll stated that services offered by <br />the Springsted Company, Municipal Consultants, include <br />matters with regard to bond issues, etc. for village <br />or mur_icipal projects. <br />Inventory: Strandquist moved that he, as Village Clerk, be <br />authorized to proceed with establishing a filing <br />system for the purpose of keeping an accurate <br />inventory of Village property. Stone seconded and <br />motion was carried. <br />Adjournment: <br />Upon motion, the meeting was adjourned at 9:l~5 P.
