2l~97 <br />SPECIAL '~~,fEETING OF DECE!',~BLR 31, 1966 <br />The special meeting was called to order at 9:00 A.M. with the following <br />council members present: Mayor Nilsen, Clerk Strandquist, Councilmen <br />ti~larkentien, Stone and Black, <br />PElinutes: Strandquist moved, seconded by Stone that the minutes <br />of the regular meeting of December 28, 1966 be approved. <br />Ayes: All. Nays: None, motion was carried. <br />Proposed Contract The formal contract for police protection by the Ramsey <br />for Police County Sheriff's Department was submitted by that <br />Protection by Department. After review and discussion, council <br />Sheriff's members agreed that a meeting with Assistant County <br />Department: Attorney Quayle and representative of the Sheriff's <br />Department will be set at a later date. <br />N.E. Area Storm Stone moved,. seconded by l~larkentien that one check in <br />Sewer Improvement payment of Estimate No. 4 and Final due the contractor <br />65-1 - Estimate for the Northeast Storm Sewer Improvement 65-1 be issued <br />No. ~. and Final: jointly to the Commercial Cartage Company and the Elk <br />River Products Company. Ayes: A11. Nays; None. l+mtion <br />was carried. <br />N.E.Area Storm Transfer of funds from the N.E. Area Storm Sewer Improvement <br />Sewer Imprw ement Fund to the General Fund in the amount of X2,313.95 was <br />65-1 - Transfer authorized by the Council. It has been determined that <br />of Funds: the above amount drawn on the General Fund Account should <br />have been draz~m from the N.E. Area Storm Surer Improvement <br />65-1 Account. <br />Police Officer Officer Dewey A. Smith's record, with particular regard <br />Dewey A. Smith to time taken off from regular duties due to previous <br />Record to be back injury, will be reviewed and discussed with him at <br />Reviewed: the council meeting of January 11, 1967, Clerk is <br />directed to send letter to Officer Smith (with copy to <br />Police Commissioner Arndt) requesting that he appear <br />before the council on above date. <br />Tape Recorder: Stone moved, seconded by Black that the Recreation <br />Department be authorized to purchase three tapes for <br />the tape recorder to be used at the Idaho-Snelling <br />skating rink. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Notion was <br />carried. <br />Secretarial Stone moved, seconded by Nilsen that the Village of Falcon <br />Duties of r.4rs. Heights pay Mrs, Dorothy Ackerman Sk21.00 for secretarial work <br />Dorothy Ackerman: performed while the Deputy Clerk was on vacation.
