2505 <br />SPEC7A,L P,IEETING OF JANUARY 13, 1967 <br />Inasmuch as all respective plans pertaining to Larpenteur-Snelling S3gna1 <br />Revisions and also Larpenteurkrona plans are readi.l.y available in the offices <br />of the consulting engineers, Bonestroo, Rosene,,Anderlik and Associates, an <br />informal meeting was held in said office at 8s00 P.M., January 13, 1967 to <br />discuss same. Informal meeting concluded at 10:00 P.M. armed special meeting <br />of the Village Council was called to order at the Village Hall at 10:15 P.M. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Nilsen, Clerk Strandquisti <br />Councilmen Slack, Warkentien and Stone. Also present were Engineer <br />Lemberg, F. W. Snyker, Jr., and W. Chenoweth, representatives of Ramsey <br />County Engineering Department. <br />Traffic Signals Stone moved, seconded by Warkentien that the Vi17.age <br />Intersection of• Council authori2e installation of traffic signals at <br />Larpenteur and intersection of Larpenteur Avenue and Arona Street, also <br />Snelling Avenues: necessary geometric changes on Larpenteur Avenue fr o m <br />~3• Arona to Fry Street. Ayers Nilsen, Strandquist, Stone, <br />Black and Warkentien. Nayss None. Motion was carried. <br />u <br />Minnesota State Aid Warkentien moved, seconded by Black that the Village <br />Funds Expenditure Council authorize transfer of allotted municipal state <br />Authorizeds aid funds in the amount of $30,000 , which sum is to <br />be transferred to Ramsey County as the Village of <br />Falcon Heights portion of the cost of construction <br />of traffic sisals at Larpenteur and Arona and related <br />necessary changes on Larpenteur from Arona to Fry Street. <br />Ayers Nilsen, Strandquist, Stone, Black and Warkentien. <br />Nayss None. Motion was carried. <br />Mr. Snyker stated that agreement will be drafted and <br />submitted to the Council by January 25, 1967. <br />Minnesota Highway Stone moved, seconded by Varkentien that the Mayor and <br />Department Clerk be authorized to sign Resolution on behalf of the <br />S. P. 6216-53 Village of Falcon Heights pertaining to Trunk Highway <br />(T. H. 51-125): No. 51 within file Village of Falcon Heights regarding <br />plans, special provisions and specifications for <br />improvement of said highway, which plans are on fil e <br />in the office of the Department of Highways being marked <br />S. P. 6216-53 ( T. H. 51 = 125). Ayers All. Nayss <br />None. Motion was carried <br />Republicans <br />Reserve pillage Request for use of hall for meeting of 1~9B District of <br />Fie1.1.s Republican Party was granted by Council. <br />1 <br />
