2 523 <br />REGI)LAt~ I;~EETIIVG OF i~1A1~CH 9, 1967 <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.i~S. with the following <br />members present: ~~ayor Nilsen, Clerk Strandquist, Councilmen 1~rarkentien, <br />Stone and Black. ,'~A7.so present were Attorney Kyle, Engineer Lemberg and <br />Treasurer Olsen. <br />~D.nutes: Stone moved, seconded by Black that the minutes of the <br />meeting of February 23s 1967 be approved. Motion was <br />carried. <br />Strandquist moved, seconded by Ston© that the minutes of <br />the special meeting of ~~Iarch 2,..,1967 be approved. Motion <br />was carried. <br />Correspondence: <br />Sewer Rates Letter of P~Zarch 3, 1967 from Eugene Avery, Chief Engineer <br />Dept. of Public Department of Public ti`r'orks, St. Paul was in answer to <br />,;,- <br />d~orks: Clerks inquiry as to status_of sewer rates. In part <br />__ it stated that it is their purpose to develop contract and <br />exhibits for each suburban community and it is their hope <br />that this exhibit attachment (on which specific charge to <br />this community ~rould be based) can be developed in draft <br />form for council review by about April 1, 1967. <br />State Fire School Letter of February 23 from E.L. ~'teber, .Asst. Commissioner <br />May 1 - ?~: of Fire T,~iarshal Department,,State of Minnesota advised that <br />' the _T~Rinnesota State Fire School will be held ~~iaay 1 - ~., 1967. <br />Traffic Summons D~Zr. Motion was carried. <br />Harmers Request It was stated that Police Commissioner Arndt had spoken <br />for 1965 Vacation to Gwen Harmer, former police officer, regarding the <br />Pay: latter~s request for 1965 vacation pay, <br />Motor Vehicle Vincent Schadeggis letter of February 2~, 1967 stated in <br />Records on Volunteers part that motor vehicle records on all of the drivers of <br />in Fire Departments vehicles covered under the villages policy are within the <br />range of acceptability ti~rith the exception of one volunteer <br />. in the fire department. Fire Chief will be responsible <br />for seeing to it that this volunteer does not, any time, <br />drive village vehicles. <br />Official Depository It has been brought to the atfiantinn of the Village Council <br />Amount of ..Deposit by C.P.A.
