REGULAR MEETING JUNE 12, 1958. <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:30 P. M. with the following Council Members <br />presents Harold Nilsen, Mayor; Geo. Shavor, Trustee; Wm. Utecht, Clerk. <br />Also present were Frank N. Graham, Village Attorney, Wm. E. Olsen, Treasurer <br />and Ethel E. N~hite, Dep. Clerk and Dep. Treasurer. Absent: Paul Coppini, <br />Trustee; and Willis Warkentien, Trustee. <br />Minutes of the regular meeting of May 22nd were approved as submitted. <br />Alleys Signed petition for the improvement of the alley between Iowa <br /> and Hoyt, from the East line of Pascal to the West line of <br /> Albert was read. It was moved by Utecht and seconded by Nilsen <br /> that this petition tie referred to Attorney Graham. Motion <br /> unanimously carried. <br />Excess- A petition, signed by 33 people in the Falcon Woods Area, re- <br />ive Speed nuesting the reduction of speed on Roselawn from !~0 MPH to <br />Roselawn 30 MPH, and the installation of ~ way stop signs at Fairview <br /> and Roselawn, was read. It was moved by Utecht and seconded <br /> by Shavor that this petition be referred to Mr. Wm. Chenoweth, <br /> Ramsey County Traffic Safety Engineer for his immediate study <br /> and recommendation. Motion unanimously carried. <br />Payment of The adoption of the following resolution was moved by Nilsen, <br />Interest seconded by Utecht, and unanimously carrieds <br /> RESOLVED That the Treasurer be authorized to prepare and deliver <br /> a check payable to the American National Bank in the amount of <br /> thirty-seven-thousand-eight-hundred-ninety-five dollars and <br /> fifty cents 037,895.50) in payment of interest due on Village <br /> of Falcon Heights Sanitary Sewer Bonds on July 1st, 1958. This <br /> check to be drawn upon the Sanitary Sewer Sinking Fund Account <br /> . <br />Falcon Letter from Attorney Graham to Mayor Nilsen, dated May 22nd, <br />Heights advising that the certificate completing the rezoning of the <br />Cong church property had been prepared and filed on May 13th in <br />Church book 371 of Miscellaneous at Page 551 in the Office of the <br />Register of Deeds for Ramsey County, Minnesota, was read and filed. <br />County Undated letter from George V. Loss, 687 Eldridge, St. Paul, 17, <br />Election stating he was running for election as County Comm~_ssioner, <br />First District, but would withdraw his name from candidacy in <br />.case Mrs. Lucille Blank decided to run for re-election, was <br />read and filed. <br />Gottfried With reference to the Gottfried Pit Pumping Station, Force <br />Pit Main, and Como Over-flow, it was moved by Nilsen, seconded by <br />Shavor and unanimously carried that we write Harry Bronson, <br />County Engineer, requesting the following information: 1. <br />What the total cost is going to be. 2. What the Village's <br />share will be. 3, What State Aid is doing to be used. 4. <br />How the State Aid is going to be applied. <br />Tatum It was moved by Nilsen, seconded by Shavor, and unanimously <br />Street carried that the following resolution approving plans and <br />specifications and ordering advertisment for bids, be adopted: <br />1~LC_,~ <br />
