<br />REGULAR MEETING JULY 13, 1961.
<br />Meeting was called to order at ?:00 P. M., the following Council Members being
<br />present: Harold C. Nilsen, Mayor; George Shavor, Trustee; Paul Coppini,
<br />Trustee; A. if. Mortenson, Clerk. Also present were ld. Galvin, Village Attorney
<br />and Ethel E. White, Deputy Clerk and Deputy Treasurer. Absents Hillis Warken-
<br />tien, Trustee and lqm. E. Olsen, Treas.
<br />The Minutes of June 22nd were approved as corrected. (Index at bottom of page
<br />1!108 changed to read "Street and alley maintenance..")
<br />The Minutes of June 28th were approved as submitted.
<br />Licenses: After discussion, issuance of the following licenses was
<br />moved by Coppini, seconded by Shavor and carried:

<br />Sign Shavor moved approval of the request ,for permit for sign for
<br />"Nfisconsin National Life Ins. Co.," 1550 W. Larpenteur Ave.
<br />Seconded by Nilsen and carried. The Deputy Clerk to inform
<br />the Building Inspector.
<br />Sign Nilsen moved approval of the sign for "Mickey~s Diner",
<br />Larpenteur and Arona. Seconded by Coppini and carried. The ''
<br />Deputy Clerk to notify proprietor and building inspector.
<br />Fireworks Request for use of fire works to scare birds from the Exper-
<br />imental Fields, Dept. of Agronomy and Plant Genetics, University
<br />of Minnesota was read. Nilsen moved that permission be granted.
<br />Seconded by Coppini and carried. Dep. Clk. to notify Mrs. Tarrud.
