1726 <br />REGULAR MEETING MARCH 8, 1962. <br />Meeting ryas called to order at 7s00 p. m., the following members of the Council <br />being presents Harold C. Nilsen, Mayor; C. P. Stone, Trustee; W. A. Mortenson, <br />Clerk; Willis Warkentien, Trustee; George J. Shavor, Trustee. Also present were <br />M. J. Galvin, Village Attorney; Wm. E. Olsen, Treasurer; Brad Lemberg, Village <br />Engineer; and Ethel E. White, Deputy Clerk and Deputy Treasurer. <br />Minutess It was moved by Stone, seconded by Warkentien and voted that the <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 21st be approved as <br />submitted. <br />License, All requirements having been met, it was moved by Mortenson, <br />Plumbings seconded by Warkentien and voted to issue Master Plumber's <br />License No. 77 to Fred F. Wagner, dba F. G. Wagner Plumbing <br />& Heatir~ Company, Lt39 So. Cleveland Avenue, St. Fain, 5, Minn. <br />Sign, Shell Request for permit by Ben H. Christopher, owner, Crown Sign <br />Oil Co. & Construction Company was reviewed and the Deputy Clerk was <br />instructed to retwrn same to Crown Construction Company with <br />excerpt from Ordinance 6!i pertaining to Filling Station Signs, <br />advising that proposed location does not comply with ordinance. <br />Recreations The Deputy Clerk was instructed to advise Eri~net D. William , <br /> <br />'~ Supt. of Schools, Independent School District No. 623, that Mr. <br />' <br />" <br /> i 7 <br />. Stocker will attend the meeting of Recreation Directors <br />+~ <br />'~ to be held at the Alexander Ramsey High School Library at 7.:30 <br />~ p. m. on Tuesday, March 13th, 1962, as Falcon Heights Official <br /> Representative. <br />Planning: Informative literature on the Second Annual State~Pide Planning <br /> Conference was reviewed, and the Deputy Clerk was instructed to <br /> forward same to Mr. Geo. W. Plant, Chairman, Falcon Heights <br /> Planning Commission, advising that the Village will pay his <br /> expenses if he can attend the meetings scheduled. <br />Sewer, 15lt0 After discussion, it was moved by Shavor, seconded by warkentien <br />Towa. and voted that the Village prepare and mail a check to R. J. <br /> Ahmann, Jr. and Roto-Rooter Sewer Service Company in the amount <br /> of X37.00 in ,view of the excessive expense incurred by Mr. <br /> Ahmann due to a fault in tree construction of the sewer stub from <br /> the main to his property line. <br />Tack Boards: The Clerk was authorized to buy two tack boards - one for the <br />" Village Hall and the other for the Clerk's Office, and arrange <br /> to have same framed and mounted by Fire Department personnel. <br />Boulevard Dr. Hard's report was read and his proposal that money for tree <br />Tree Study: maintenance be devoted to pruning and tree removal was noted. <br /> Bonestroo-Rosene will prepare a card designed to survey number <br /> and location of trees, card to be attached to and mailed with <br /> the sewer rental cards. <br />Oxygen, Stone asked Warkentien if he would like to rener- his motion that <br />polic® car: oxygen equipment be purchased for the police car. Warkentien <br /> replied "Yes. Al Helbig, spokesman for the fire department <br />
