MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OCTOBER 22, 1986 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />at 7:OOP.M, by Baldwin. <br />ALL MEMBERS PRESENT <br />Baldwin, Chenoweth, Wallin, Hard, and Ciernia. Also present was Barnes. <br />ADDENDUM TO AGENDA <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Hard, addition of Item 5 CB), Resolution <br />Restricting Parking Along Larpenteur, Arona to Snelling Drive. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVID <br />Hard moved, seconded by Chenoweth, approval of the Consent Agenda. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />MINUTES OF OCTOBER 8, 1986 APPROVED <br />Chenoweth moved, seconded by Wallin, approval of the Minutes of October 8, <br />1986 as corrected. Motion carried unanimously. <br />NO ACTION ON FIRE DEPARTMENT PENSION FUND <br />No action was taken on this item as the amended by-laws have not been <br />received by Council. <br />PROPOSED RESOLUTION RELATING TO TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF GROUP W CABLE <br />Ron Eggert, Cable Commissioner for Falcon Heights, presented the proposed <br />resolution relating to the transfer of ownership of Group W Cable to North <br />Central Cable Communications Corporation, reviewed the history of the <br />proposed sale, and explained the Cable Commission has recommended the City <br />approve the transfer. Following a short discussion Chenoweth moved, <br />seconded by Ciernia, adoption of Resolution R-86-44. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-86-44 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF <br />GROUP W CABLE OF THE NORTH SUBURBS, INC. <br />CABLE TV PROGRAMMING DISCUSSED <br />Eggert commented on problems with inadequate lighting, interference in the <br />audio system From florescent lights, lack of volume in the the audio <br />system, and recommended remedies. He also requested an attempt be made to <br />obtain persons from the city commissions to train as camera operators. <br />STORM DRAINAGE UTILITY DISCUSSION <br />Council discussed at length concerns raised by citizens at the <br />informational meeting held September 15th, i.e., incentives to improve <br />control of run off, cost control, and abating some of the charges to <br />~~ <br />
