Rowley, Deputy Clerk Ralph Van Hoven, Treasurer Absent: Art Lindig, Trustee The meeting was called to order by President Matteson at 7:30 p.m. Resume of meeting of Matteson gave a brief resume of the special meeting called June 4 Saturday, June 4, inasmuch as no minutes were taken of this meeting. Briefly the matters discussed were as follows: 1. A letter dated Jur_G 2 had been received from Middlebrook ad- vising tha±. he w~~a agreeable to a second renewal of 15 years at the option of the vill.a~;e for the 1CasC of the property on Larpcrteur Avenue for the village hall and fire station. This provision would give a total. 1CasC of 45 years. The rental under this lease for the first 30 ,years would be fixed at '~15 p-r year. Bcginnin~; wits the 30th year tY•e rental charge would be fixed at a sum equal to 2f of the ap- praised value at that time of the land as determined by the ~t. Paul Realstate Board. 2. The Village of Roseville had appraised the Town Hall at ?G6,500. The Village of Lauderdale apparently had concurred in this valuation. It was the opinion of the council members thst a fair valuation of t'_^e '"own Hall property should be ~7i500. thze to the difference in opinion, it was assumed that a board of arbitration would be established composed of 1 representative from Roseville, one from Lauderdale, one from Fa?.con Heights, and a fourth person to be sC1CCted by thGBC 3• 3. Motion seconded by Shavor and carried Electrical Bids Council opened the bids received for electrical work, ss follows: Tieso & Kostka Elec. ('1,200 included for Fixtures ?3,576.00 Ernest & P?elson Elce.("~1,200 included for fixtures,) 3,075.00 Collins Higberg 01,200 incl.uaed. for fixtures) 3,56~~.00 Stapp Bros.
