Stewart, Clerk <br />Ralph Van Hoven, Treasurer <br />Absent: <br />George Shavor, Trustee <br />Arthur A. Lindig, " <br />Frank N. Graham, Attorney <br />9[eeting called to order at 7:30 pm. Minutes of Regular meeting, September 11, <br />and of Special meeting, Sept. 21, were approved as read. <br />Fire Dept. John Rysgasrd reported on difficulties the Fire Department <br />deluge encountered in trying to make a deluge set. In considering <br />set purchase of a t1A~1~et, Rysgasrd will call Twin City Fire <br />Departments to see what may be had in the way of a used set. <br />It was also agreed that the Clerk try out an ad in the League <br />magazine for a used deluge set. <br />American In accounting for recent increase in the Ame rican Linen Supply <br />Linen Supply Company bill, Rysgasrd said that four beds were now being out- <br />fitted instead of two. <br />Fire Chief In connection with the limiting, of the sionthly exp~endit~re of <br />monthly the Fi re Chief, Rysgasrd reported that the Fire Protection <br />expenditure committee recommends an amount not to exceed X20.00 per month, <br />limit. not including gasoline and oil. <br />~Yindows cait~ked, Rysgasrd said General Contractor Sweitzer had started as of <br />walls rubbed this date on caulking of windows, rubbing down walls, repair- <br />down, Dement ing cement and taking care of other incompleted work. <br />steps repaired. <br />Dachtera Don Arnt, Chairman, Public Safety Committee, presented bill <br />bill for of Polioe Officer Dachtera, covering August and September <br />police calls. calla, including call to Pufahl Foundry fire in Lauderdale, <br />Aug. 25. Mr. Arndt was asked to issue orders prohibiting <br />future calling of local police officers out of the Pillage <br />area. He will also check with Dachtera as to mileage c~~imed <br />on letter's bill. <br />Olson- Building Inspector Reichow requested authority to issue a build- <br />Rekstad ing permit for a double garage to be placed on boundary between <br />building the William Olsen and Clarence Rekstad lots at 1784 N. Pascal <br />permit. and 1790 N. Pascal respectively. Rekstad was directed to di s- ' <br />cuss the matter with our attorney. <br />Bills: Were presented as follows: <br />Ramsey Co.
