<br />meeting were heard and approved as read.
<br />Bills: On motion by Lindig, seconded by Shavor, the following bills
<br />were ordered paid;

<br />Pedestrian After discussion, Lodahl moved that the plan fora pedestrian
<br />cross-walk cross xalk on Larpenteur avenue between Snelling and Arona, be
<br /> and hereby is approved, and that said plan be transmitted to
<br /> County Commissioner Tony Schmidt, with request that he submit
<br /> same to the Board of County Commissioners, and if approved by
<br /> the Board, that the work be ordered done by the County according
<br /> to the pedestrian cross-walk plan with the understanding that
<br /> the Village of Falcon Heights be billed for the cost; also if
<br /> the installation is approved that pedestrian stop signs be
<br /> painted the new red.
<br />Fire Dept. Letter was read. from the Village Attorney relating to request
<br />Relief Assn. from the Fire Department Relief Association for an additional
<br />levy levy to provide for death benefits for members. After discussion,
<br /> Shavor moved that the treasurer be requested to obtain from the
<br /> Fire Department Relief Association an itemized statement of
<br /> receipts and expenditures with respect to the Associations special
<br /> fund,'from the inception of the Association to date. Seconded by
<br /> Stewart and carried unanimously.
<br />Mock petition In connection with possible legal aspects, council members agreed
<br /> to postpone acting on the Planning Commissions recommendation
<br /> that the Mock petition be approved, until a future meeting of
<br /> the council at which the Village Attorney is present.
<br />Barthel Villas- Joseph C. V~irrer, 1135 Thomas Avenue, St Paul, appeared before
<br />Joseph C.Wirrer the council in connection with his request for a building permit
<br /> to erect a home on Lot 22, in Barthel Villas, Garden and Holton,
<br /> this property being purchased by Mr. Airrer recently, When
<br /> informed that such permit will be issued only when proper
<br /> provision is made so as not to interfere with the natural drain-
<br /> age, Mr. Wirrer stated he would have his attorney contact the
<br /> Village attorney regarding the matter.
