<br />REGULAR MEETING, VdEDNESDAY, APRIL 27, 1955
<br />Meeting called to order at 7:t~0 P.M., roll call recording the following council members
<br />present: Robert E. Stenzinger, Mayor; George J. Shavor, Trustee; Andrew Hustrulid,
<br />Trustee; David P. Cartwright, Trustee; Clyde J. Stewart, Clerk. Also present -
<br />R+illiam E. Olsen, Treasurer and Frank N. Graham, Attorney.
<br />Minutes of April 13, 1955 meeting were heard and approved as read.

<br /> for the Clerk, was considered. On motion by Hustrulid,
<br /> seconded by Stenzinger, ordered approved.
<br />Church off-street ~Ir. George Gustafson's letter of April 18, advising that
<br />the
<br />,parking .
<br />Congregational church was considering the purchase of Lots 18,
<br /> 19 and 20, Barthel Villas, Garden and Holton, if the property
<br /> could be rezoned for off street parking for church purposes.
<br /> Our attorney was asked to advise Mr. Gustafson regarding our
<br />

<br />Letter o~ ~,pri~1 ~~, 1955 from Milner '~/. Carley, Village
<br />Engineer Engineer, about his being discharged from the hospital
<br /> and ordered by his doctor to take a rest for a few weeks,
<br /> Mr. Carley advising that his son would take care of any
<br /> Village matters during Carley's absence. Hustrulid moved
<br /> that the Clerk acknowledge the letter and extend the council's
<br /> best wishes to Mr. Carley. Seconded by Cartwright and
<br /> motion carried unanimously.
<br />Bills: On motion by Cartwright, seconded by Hustrulid, the following
<br /> bills were ordered paid:

<br />Streets: The Mayor reported that Street Commissioner Seaborn would like
<br /> permission to make necessary repairs to our streets as soon
<br /> as weather is dry enough. Hustrulid moved that the Street
<br /> Commissioner be instructed to fill the holes and proceed with
<br /> the regular maintenance program as soon as the County Engineer
<br /> considers it advisable. Seconded by Stewart and motion carried
<br /> unan imously.
<br />Schultz to After discussion, Hustrulid moved that Stanley P. Schultz be
<br />remove skating employed on his days off, at $1.75 an hour, to remove the
<br />rink lumber skating rink lumber from the school grounds, with suggestion
<br /> that John Rysgaard be asked to furnish the truck for this
<br /> purpose. Seconded by Cartwright and carried unanimously.
<br />Ralph D. Thomas Mr. J. C. MacMillan and Mr. R. R. Hagglund, of Ralph D,
<br />& Associates, Thomas and Associates, Inc., Minneapolis, appeared before
<br />Engineers - the .council in connection with our proposed sanitary sewer
<br /> program. Letter of April 15 relative to their engineering
<br />.Sanitary Sewer services and communities they have served, was read. Also
<br /> their proposal covering a preliminary survey for a sanitary
