• <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />No. 95-1 1 <br />COUNCIL RESOLUTION <br />Date: Aoril 26, 1995 <br />----------------------------------------------------------- <br />ARESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO OPERATE A SECONDHAND <br />FURNITURE STORE AT 1532 W. LARPENTEUR AVENUE, NORTHOME SHOPPING CENTER <br />WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights received an application from James Ladner, <br />owner of the Northome Shopping Center on behalf of William Erickson, proprietor of Falcon <br />Futons and Area Rugs, for the issuance of a conditional use permit to operate a secondhand <br />furniture store; and <br />WHEREAS, the city council did carefully consider the request as well as the <br />recommendations made by the city's planning commission after holding the required public <br />hearing; and <br />WHEREAS, it was determined that the conditional use permit meets all the general <br />and specific requirements set forth in Chapter 9-15.04 subd. 3 (al of the zoning code. <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the city council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights that a conditional use permit for the operation of a secondhand furniture store at <br />1532 W. Larpenteur Avenue be granted subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The store be authorized to sell used furniture and household furnishings only. <br />2. The hours of operation be limited to 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday to Saturday. <br />3. The store shall not receive direct drop off of merchandise from members of the public <br />at these premises. <br />4. There shall be no outdoor storage of merchandise. <br />5. Any change or expansion to the type of used goods sold shall require an amendment <br />to the conditional use permit. <br />6.
