No. 95-17 <br />• CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />COUNCIL RESOLUTION <br />Date: Mav 24. 1995 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR ADDITIONAL SIGN AREA <br />AT 1795 HOLTON STREET <br />WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights received an application on behalf of Falcon <br />Heights United Church of Christ for the construction of an additional ground sign; and <br />WHEREAS, the city code allows churches to have a maximum of 50 square feet of <br />sign area per property, but allows additional sign area with the issuance of a conditional use <br />permit; and <br />WHEREAS, the city council did carefully consider the request as well as the <br />recommendations made by the city's planning commission after holding the required public <br />hearing; and <br />• WHEREAS, it was determined that the conditional use permit meets all the general <br />and specific requirements set forth in Chapter 9-15.04 subd. 3 (a) of the zoning code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the city council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights that a conditional use permit be issued for additional sign area at 1795 Holton Street <br />subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The sign area shall not exceed 12 square feet and shall maintain a clearance <br />of 18" above the ground at all times. <br />2. The sign shall be kept in a state of good repair. <br />3.
