No. R-94-03 <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br />Date: 1 26 94 <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE FOR 1755 PRIOR AVENUE <br />On January 26, 1994, the Falcon Heights city council recommended <br />granting the following variance requested for 1755 Prior Avenue: <br />Chapter 9, ~13.02(3)(e) in the sign code setback <br />A variance of 8 feet in the east side property line for <br />construction of a sign not larger than 16 square feet as <br />stated in the original proposal and consistent with all <br />other code requirements. <br />The city council adopted the following findings for recommending <br />the granting of the variance at 1755 Prior Avenue: <br />a. That the amendment to the variance will not be <br />detrimental to the public welfare; <br />b. That the amendment to the variance will not <br />substantially diminish or impair property values or improvements <br />in the area; <br />c. That the amendment to the variance is necessary for the <br />preservation and enjoyment of substantial property rights; <br />d. That the amended variance will not impair an adequate <br />supply of light and air to adjacent property; <br />e. That the amended variance will not impair the orderly <br />use of the public stree~:s; and <br />f.
