No. RR-94-18-18 <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br />Date: 06/22/94 <br />A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE PRECINCT POLLING PLACE FOR PRECINCT NO. 2 <br />OF THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has the power pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statues Chapter 204B.16 to designate the polling place for each <br />precinct within a municipality; and <br />WHEREAS, the polling place for Precinct No. 2 has been <br />designated at 1795 Holton Street (Falcon Heights United Church of <br />Christ) in the City of Falcon Heights; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to change the Precinct No. 2 <br />polling place to a school, for reasons including the desire far the <br />city's school children to witness the electoral process. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />• City of Falcon Heights hereby changes the polling place for <br />Precinct No. 2 to 1393 Garden Avenue (Falcon Heights Elementary <br />School); and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this polling place change will be <br />effective January 1, 1995. <br />BALDWIN <br />GEHRZ (absent) <br />HUSTAD <br />JACOB5 <br />GIBSON TALBOT <br />4 In Favor <br />0 Against <br />Approved by <br />~u ~S°~~~ <br />Mayor <br />Date <br />Attested by ~~.G. <br />City Clerk <br />~~~ <br />Date <br /> <br />
