No. R-93-18(a) <br />• CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br />Date: March 10. 1993 <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCE FOR <br />UNIVERSITY GROVE SUBDIVISION NO. 2 <br />On February 22, 1993, the Falcon Heights planning commission <br />recommended the following variances for University Grove Subdivision <br />Number 2, consisting of 2151, 2161, 2173, 2148, 2154, 2160 & 2170 Folwell <br />Avenue and 2141, 2147, & 2153 Hoyt Avenue, for approval by the city council. <br />Minor & collector street right of way. Chapter 9, Section 17.04, <br />Subdivision 2. <br />A variance of <br />50 foot right <br />Drainage & utility <br />Subdivision 4. <br />. A variance to <br />the platted 1. <br />10 feet for Folwell Avenue to permit a <br />of way. <br />easements. Chapter 9, Section 17.04, <br />allow no drainage or utility easements along <br />its of this subdivision. <br />The planning commission adopted the following findings for granting the <br />variances for University Grove Subdivision Number 2• <br />a. That the variance will not be detrimental to the public welfare; <br />b. That the granting of the variance will not substantially <br />diminish or impair property values or improvements in the area; <br />c. That the granting of the variance is necessary for the preserva- <br />tion and enjoyment of substantial property rights by re-establish- <br />ing previous property lines and right of ways; <br />d. That the variance will not impair an adequate supply of light and <br />air to adjacent property; <br />e. That the variance will not impair the orderly use of the public <br />streets; <br />f. That the variance will not increase the danger of fire or endanger <br />the public safety; <br />
