~~ ~ <br />1~ <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br />Date: April 8, 1992 <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR OPERATION OF A VETERINARY CLINIC <br />AT 1553 W. LARPENTEUR IN A B-2 DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights received an application <br />from Dr. Douglas LeMay for the issuance of a conditional use permit to <br />establish a veterinary clinic in Bullseye Plaza at 1553 W. Larpenteur Ave.; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council did carefully consider the request as <br />well as the recommendations made by the city's planning commission after <br />holding the required public hearing; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of <br />Falcon Heights that. a conditional use permit for the establishment of a <br />veterinary clinic at 1553 W. Larpenteur Ave. be subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. Operate a veterinary clinic with grooming as a secondary <br />use with a maximum of seven full-time equivalent employees. <br />2. Adhere to all animal welfare laws in Chapter 343 of the <br />Minnesota state statutes. <br />3. Maintain a clean environment inside and outside the business <br />with sanitary disposal of all wastes, cleaning up after <br />clients on the walk and in the parking lot as necessary. <br />4. Keep the business within the building except for the coming <br />and going of clientele. No outside cages, kennels, or <br />exercising of animals. <br />5. Soundproof the common walls to adjacent businesses and the <br />kennel area and exam rooms. <br />6. Control odors in the kennel and dark room with separate <br />exhaust fans. <br />7. Limit hospital stays to recovering animals with a maximum <br />of 14 pets to stay. <br />M 8. Dispose of hazardous waste as regulated by the county and <br />state. <br />3 `{ <br />
