No. <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br />Date <br />R-91-12 <br />Feb. 27, 1991 <br />A RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED <br />AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br />WHEREAS, a contract has been let (costs have been determined) <br />for•the improvement of Albert Street from Larpenteur Avenue to <br />Garden Avenue, Arona Street from Crawford Avenue to Roselawn Avenue, <br />Fry Street, St. Mary's Street, Maple Knoll Drive, Garden Avenue <br />from Fry Street to Snelling Avenue Frontage Road, by the City of <br />Falcon Heights, and the contract (bid) price for such improvement <br />is $693,576.66, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in <br />the making of such improvement amount to $183,959.30 so that the <br />total cost of the improvement will be $877,535.96. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE I'I'RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the <br />city is hereby declared to be $436,493.54 and the portion of the <br />cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared <br />to be $441,042.42. <br />• <br />• <br />2. The City Administrator, with the assistance of the consulting <br />City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be <br />specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable <br />lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without <br />regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a <br />copy of such proposed assessment in the City office for public <br />inspection. <br />3.
