CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of June, . 1982. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Eggert, Larson, Ciernia and Chestovich and the following were absent: None. adoption: Councilmember Larson introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION 82-24 A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT TAX DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights is considering a development on the Hawkins and Hermes property north of Larpenteur Avenue in the south l/2 of Section l6, Township 29, Range 23, and WHEREAS, there is no storm sewer to serve that area including lands easterly to Fairview Avenue north to Roselawn, and WHEREAS, it is reasonable and feasible to connect a storm sewer line to the University Storm Sewer south of Larpenteur at Gortner Avenue which out- let is at Stella and Como Avenues, and • WHEREAS, to finance such a project under Tax Increment Financing a storm sewer improvement tax district must be established. NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota shall hold a public hearing on July 22,.1982 at 8:30 p.m. to consider establish- ing a storm sewer improvement tax district on the above mentioned area. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Eggert and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereofs Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Larson, Eggert, Ciernia and Chestovich, and the following voted against the same: None.
