CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />• the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held <br />on the 22nd day of February, 1978, <br />The following members were present: Acting Mayor Black, Council- <br />members McGough and Brown, and the following were absent: Mayor <br />Warkentien and Councilman Steele. <br />Councilman McGough introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 78-8 <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND <br />ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br />IN CONNECTION WITH HOLLYWOOD COURT STREET AND <br />ALLEY IMPROVEMENT AND CALLING FOR ASSESSMENT <br />HEARING <br />WHEREAS, the contract has been let for construction of Hollywood <br />Court Street and. Alley improvement as specifically set forth in the <br />Notice of Hearing on said improvement dated March 9th, 1977 and <br />published in the St. Paul Dispatch on March 8, 1977 and March 15, 1977 <br />WHEREAS, the total cost of said improvement is $31,238.86, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. The City Council hereby determines that the cost in <br />the amount of $31,238.86 shall be assessed against benefitted <br />property owners. <br />2. The City Clerk Administrator shall forthwith calculate <br />the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvements against <br />every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land without regard to cash <br />valuation as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such pro- <br />posed assessment in his office for public inspection prior to pub- <br />lication of the Notice of Assessment Hearing on said improvement. <br />3. The City Clerk Administrator shall publish notice <br />that this Council will meet to consider the proposed assessments on <br />April 12, 1978 at 8:00 p.m. in the City Hall. <br />4.
