CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due. call and notice thereof, a Regular Meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was <br />held on the 14th day of June, 1978.. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Council- <br />members Black, McGough, Steele and Brown, and the following members <br />were absent: None. Councilman Steele introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 78-16 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF ASSIS- <br />TANCE FOR SHADE TREE SANITATION OF PRIVATE <br />PROPERTY UNDER MINNESOTA STATUTE; 18..023 OF <br />1977. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota <br />has entered into a Joint Agreement with the <br />Minnesota Department of Agriculture and under <br />Minnesota Statute 18.023 which provides for <br />state assistance for Shade Tree Sanitation <br />program and, <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota requires the <br />City to establish a rate of disbursement: <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council <br />of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota does <br />• hereby establish the rate of assistance to <br />private property owners at 500 of the cost of <br />removal effective January 1, 1978, not to exceed <br />$100...00 per tree, limit to five (5) trees. per <br />lot per calander year.. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Councilman Black ,; and upon a vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmembers Black, McGough, Steele and Brown, and the following <br />voted against same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the resolution was de fired duly pass~~drand a~.opted. <br />r ,,, . <br />,.~ <br />_,~ <br />WILLIS C.A.
