CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the <br />• 28th day of February 1979. <br />The Following meanbers were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Black, Steele, McGough and Brown and the following members were absent: None. <br />Councilmember Black introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION 7~~-10 <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING '['HE METROPOLITAN <br />COUNCIL TO ACCEPT THE COl!4IUNITY GRANT <br />APPLICATION PRAVIDED UNDER THE METRO- <br />POLITAN LAND PLANNING AC:t (ADDITIONAL <br />FUNDING) <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Land Planning Act under Minnesota Statutes, <br />Section 1173. 851-173. 872 requires the commwni.ty to update its comprehensive <br />plan and, <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Laws - 1976 Chapter 167 provided funding for the <br />Metropolitan Area Local Goverrunental units for the preparation of said plans. <br />WHN;RF.AS, additional Grants are avai;Lable for 1978-1979 in addition to <br />the 1976-1977 grant in the amount of $2,72!}.00. <br />. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights, Minnesota, that the Metropolitans Council is requested to accept the <br />City of Falcon Heights application for additional funding in the preparation <br />of upgrading a comprehensive plan in the amount of $2,721.00 as shown in the <br />Community Grant Application attached. <br />The motion for the adoption of the :eoregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmeanber Steele and upon a vote being taken, the following voted <br />in favor of the resolution: Mayor Warketstien, Councilmembers Black, McGough, <br />Steele and Brown and the following v~~ted against same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Attest• <br />Dewar B.
