CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />~of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 11th day of July, 1979. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers McGough, <br />Stone, Steele and Brown, and the following were absent: None. Councilmember McGough <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION 79-18 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF ASSISTANCE FOR SHADE TREE <br />SANITATION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY UNDER MINNESOTA STATUTE 18.023 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota has entered into <br />a Joint Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and <br />under Minnesota Statute 18.023 which provides for state assistance <br />for Shade Tree Sanitation program and, <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota requires the City to establish a <br />rate of disbursement: <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of <br />Falcon Heights, Minnesota does hereby establish the rate of assis- <br />tance to private property owners at 50% of the cost of removal <br />effective January 1, 1979, not to exceed $100.00 per tree, limit <br />to five (5) trees per lot per calendar year. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />~y Councilmember Steele and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers McGough, Steele and <br />Brown and the following voted against same: None.
