CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />• Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 10th day <br />of October, 1979. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Steele, Brown and Stone, and the following members were absent: None. <br />Councilmember Steele. introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br />adoption. <br />RESOLUTION 79-23 <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING RAMSEY COUNTY BOARD <br />OF COMMISSIONERS TO POST "NO PARKING ANYTIME" <br />ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDE OF LARPENTEUR <br />AVENUE BEGINNING FROM CLEVELAND AVENUE, TO <br />FULHAM STREET. ~ <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has had several <br />requests~~. due to excessive parking, to post Larpenteur Avenue on the north <br />and south side from Cleveland Avenue westerly to Fulham Street and, <br />WHEREAS, said parking has created a traffic and snow removal hazard <br />for the County Sheriffs and Road Departments. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Falcon. Heights respectfully requests the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners <br />to authorize "No Parking Anytime" and authorize the Ramsey County Highway <br />Department to erect said signs so enforcement can be conducted. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded <br />by Mayor Warkentien and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown and Stone, <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the motion was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Willis C.
