CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 10th <br />day of July, 19 75 • <br />The following meanbers were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen <br />Black, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following was absent: Councilman <br />Ecklund. <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following Kesolution, and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #75 ~ 8 <br />A IiES'OLUTION IN-WHICH THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />WILL PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO CITIZENS FOtt <br />THE REfi'bDVAL OF DISEASED TtiEES NOT TO EXCEED p25.00 <br />WHF,R,EAS, the Council of the City of Falcon Heights is concerned <br />about Dutch Elm disease and Oak Wilt on public and private property, and <br />W~-IF~~~A.S, as Minnesota Statutes of 1974, section 18.023, a~ amended <br />by Laws of 1975, Chapter 253, which provides for public funds to be used for <br />removal and destruction of said diseased trees on public and private property. <br />NOw, T.E'ORE, BE IT HEREBY RESbLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Falcon Heights will provide financial assistance for trees in relation <br />. to Dutch Elm disease and Oak Wilt on private property not to exceed $25.00 <br />Councilman Steele seconded the foregoing hesolution, and upon a vote <br />being taken, the following voted in favor thereof : Mayor Warkentien, Council- <br />men Black, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted against the same: <br />None. <br />Tr~l'HEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and ad ted. <br />~__ <br />. c ((' <br />WILLIS C .
