CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS
<br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
<br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 10th day of
<br />. J~Y~ 1975.
<br />The f~.lowing meuabers were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen
<br />Black, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following was absent: Councilman Ecklund.
<br />Councilman Black introduced the following Resolution, and moved its
<br />adoption:

<br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PROPOSED
<br />IMPROVEMBrtTS ON AROMA AND CRAWFORD STREETS, PtTRSUANT TO
<br />MINNESOTA STATOTES, CHAPTER J.~29
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council decrees it necessary and expedient that the
<br />City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, contract certain improvements consisting of
<br />street, curb and gutter, and related appurtenances as described in, and in
<br />accordance with preliminary plans and reports prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene,
<br />Aaderlik and Associates, Consulting Engineers, and
<br />WHEREAS, the Council has been advised by the Consulting Engineers that
<br />the proposed improvements are feasible and should be made as proposed, and
<br />WHEREAS, the Statutes provide that no such improvements shall be made
<br />until the Council shall have caused two published notices of public hearing on
<br />such improvements in the official newspaper, and shall be one week apart and the
<br />last publication of meeting at least three days before the publis hearing, stating
<br />the time and place of hearing, the general nature of the improvements, the estimated
<br />costs thereof, and the area proposed to be assessed.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
<br />Falcon Heights, Minnesotan
<br />1. A public hearing will be held in the City of Falcon Heights, Minne-
<br />sota, at the City Hall, 16l~l~ West Larpenteur Avenue, Tuesday, July 29, 1975 at
<br />8:00 p.m. to consider the proposed improvements.
<br />2. The City Council of the City of Falcon Heights proposed to proceed
<br />under Chapter l~29, M.S.A.
<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution wan duly seconded
<br />by Councilman Labalestra, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted
<br />in favor: Mayer Warkent3.en, Councilmen Black, Steele, and Labalestra, and the
<br />following voted against the same: None.
<br />WHEREi1PON, the Resolution was declared duay passed and adopted.
