CITY OF FALCON HEI(~iTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 8th <br />daT of Januar~r, 1976. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen <br />Black, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following were absent: Councilman <br />Ecklund. <br />Councilman Labalestra introduced the following Resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-6 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE POSTING OF "NO PARKING" <br />SI(~TS ON THE EAST SIDE OF FOLWELL AVENiTE <br />WHEREAS, a discussion was held by the Falcon Heights City Council <br />in regard to complaints received by the City of the parking problems on <br />Folwell Avenue starting at the intersection with Hoyt Avenue and proceeding <br />north 300 feet, and <br />feet, and <br />WHEREAS, it was noted that the width of the street was only 30 <br />WHEREAS, snow banks and cars parked on both sides of the street <br />limit the acces8ibility of emergency vehicles and buses, <br />THEftEE'ORE, ~ IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br />City of Falcon Heights does hereby authorize the installation of "No <br />Parking" signs on the east side of Fo1we11 Avenue starting at the inter- <br />section with Hoyt Avenue and proceeding north for 300 feet to alleviate <br />the traffic situation. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilman Steele, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Hlack, <br />Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Passed by the City Council this 8th ,day of Januarf, 76 <br />Gnu. , C-Z y~-~~~~ <br />WILLIS C.
