CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota,.was held on the 8th <br />day of Januar~r, 1976. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen <br />Black, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following were absent: Councilman <br />Ecklund. . <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following Resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76;~ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ENGINEER TO PREPARE <br />PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS TO LOOP.. THE WATER MAIN <br />ON THE DEADEND OF ALBERT AVII+t~E `AND GARDEN AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a discussion was held by the City Council of the City <br />of Falcon Heights in regard to the deadend of the !~ inch water main at <br />Garden Avenue and Albert Avenue, and <br />WHEREAS, it was noted this deadend caused verT low water <br />pressure in that area, and <br />WHEREAS, this low water pressure could cause problems in <br />an emergency situation, <br />THEREFORE, SE IT HERESY RESOLVED, that the City Council of the <br />City of Falcon Heights does hereby authorize the Engineer to prepare plans <br />and specifications to loop the water main on the deadend of Albert Avenue <br />and Garden Avenue. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilman Steele, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted against the same: None. <br />this 8th day of January, 19 6. <br />ATTEST: <br />swan B.
