CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof are ular meet' <br />the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held onf <br />the 13th day of May, 1976. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Council- <br />men Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following w®re absent: <br />None. <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-15 <br />A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION N0. 76-11~ AND AUTHORIZING <br />COMPLETION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND PREPARATION OF <br />BIDS FOR GARDEN AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS AND SETTING A DATE FOR <br />BIDS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has <br />determined the need for street reconstruction, including concrete curb <br />and gutter, on Garden Avenue from Pascal to Holton Avenues, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has <br />determined the width of such construction to be 36 feet, and <br />h~RFAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon .Heights has <br />directed concrete curb and gutter to b® installed east of Holton Avenue <br />to Haaline Avenue, and <br />WHEREAS, the above protects are to be funded with MSA funds, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has set <br />the date for bid opening for the above-mentioned prof®cts at 2:00 p.:a., <br />May 25, 1976, with th® award of bids to b® made at the regular meeting of <br />the Council on May 27, 1976, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City <br />of Falcon Heights that authorization be given the City Engineer to com- <br />plete the plans and specifications for Garden Avenue improvements and <br />that authorization be given the Clerk-Administrator to advertise for bids, <br />as submitted by the City Engineer, and to award the bids for said Garden <br />Avenue improvements. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilman Labalestra, and upon a vote being taken, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, <br />and Labalestra, and the following voted against the same: Non®.
