CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights was held on the 21~th day of March, 1977. The following members were present: rlayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following members were absent: None. Councilman Steele introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION N0. 77-11 A RESOLUTION REQUESTING RAMSEY COUNTY BOARD OF CONII~IISSIONERS TO POST "NO RIGHT TURN ON RED" ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LARPENTEUR AVENUE AT THE INTERSECTION OF SNELLING AVENUE WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has had several re- quests to post "No Right Turn on Red" on the southwest corner of Larpenteur Avenue at the intersection of Snelling Avenue, tiv'HEREAS, the City Council believes it is a traffic hazard to allow eastbound Larpenteur traffic to turn right on the red light when westbound Larpenteur traffic is turning left on the arrow, especially when the westbound traffic turns left on to Snelling Drive, crossing the path of the eastbound cars turning right. N01n~ THEREFORE, 3E IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights requests the Ramsey County 3oard of Commissioners to authorize the post- ing of "No Night Turn on Red" on the southwest corner of Larpenteur Avenue at • the intersection of Snelling Avenue. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Black and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labaaestra and the follow- ~ing voted against the same: None.
