CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council. of the City of Falcon Heights, I1Tinnesota, was held on the 12th day of <br />May, 1977. <br />• .The following members were present: Mayor tiwarkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra, and the fo1loT.aing were absent: None. <br />IJlayor Warkentien introduced the following Resolution, and moved its <br />adoption. <br />RESOLUTION ;~ 7 7-11~ <br />A P,ESOLUTION REQUESTING A HEARIIVTG TO 0.3JECT TO THE kEDUCTION IN <br />ASSESSED VALUATION OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN FALCON HEIGHTS AND <br />OTNTtED BY MILTON COHEN FOR THE YEARS 1975 AND 1976 ON PLAT 90020, <br />PARCEL 0l.~000 AND PLAT 090:0, PARCEL 01002. <br />Yu~iEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights has received notice frcm the State of <br />Minnesota that ~Zilton Cohen has filed with the Commissioner of Revenue an application <br />for reduction in the assessed valuation of certain real estate located in the City <br />of Falcon Heights, Ramsey County, ~Zinnesota, and, <br />tiJHEREA5, I~4innesota Statutes, Section 27C.19 provides that where reduction <br />in assessed valuation of any property exceeds $50,000, the city, town, school dis- <br />trict and county in which the property is located may request a hearing to object to <br />the reduction, and, <br />ti,1IISREAS, the City of Falcon Heights does hereby object to the reduction <br />in assessed valuation and requests a formal hearing. <br />• NOW, THErEFORE, J3E IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Falcon Heights respectfully requests the State of Minnesota, Commissioner of Revenue <br />set a hearing on the proposed reduction in assessed valuation of property located in <br />Falcon Heights, Minnesota, owned by Iflilton Cohen. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Ecklund and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Mayor ti~arkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br />ti°JHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />,,// f <br />1r~ILLIS C.
