Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meet ng of the <br />City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was~held on the <br />• 25th day'of August, 1977. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen <br />Black, Steele, Labalestra and .the following members <br />were absent: None. <br />Councilman Black introduced ,the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption. <br />• <br />RESOLUTION 77-21 <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE METROPpL1TAN <br />COUNCIL TO ACCEPT THE COMM[INTTX GRANT <br />APPLICATION PROVIDED UNDER THE METRp- <br />POLITAN LAND PLANNING ACT <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Land Planning Act .under Minnesota <br />Statues, Section 473. 851-473. 872 requires the community to <br />update-its comprehensive plan and, <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Laws - 1976 Chapter I67 provided funding <br />for Metropolitan Area Local Governmental units for the prepera- <br />tion of said plans, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City <br />of Falcon Heights., Minnesota,.. that the Metropolitan Council is re- <br />quested to accept the City of Falcon Heights application for funding <br />in the preperation of upgrading a comprehensive plan in the amount <br />of $4,400 as shown in the Community Grant Application. attached. <br />The motirpn for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by .Hteele and upon a vote being taken, the following voted <br />in favor of the resolution: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Steele <br />and Labalestra and the following voted against same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly .passed and adopted. <br />-l~c~G l.. `t, <br />WILLIS C.A.
