THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Puxsuant,to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held an the 8th day of September, 1977. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Labalestra and.McGough and the fallowing members were absent: Councilman Steele. Councilman Labalestra introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 77-23 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS TO PARTICIPATE IN A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH. NUMEROUS COMMUNITIES KNOWN AS THE NORTHWEST SUBURBAN YOUTH SERVICE BUREAU WHEREAS, nine Communities, (Cities of Falcon Heights, Arden Hills, New Brighton, Moundsview, Shoreview, North Oaks, Roseville, Little Canada and Lauderdale), all located in the County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota are desires of having a joint powers agreement to jointly administer the Northwest Suburban Xouth Bureau, and, WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights does intend on sponsoring and providing. its share of monetary support thereby requiring a Joint Powers Agreement, said agreement attached hereto, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota authorizes. the Mayor and Clerk Administrator to execute said Joint Powers Agreement in behalf of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Black and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor: Mayor Warkentien~ Councl~en Black, Labalestra and McGough and the following voted against same Npne W.I~EREI~PQN., said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. .ue~.~: ~.Gl'.
